November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)!!!!!!! I really don't remember how I found the site but I was totally intrigued when I saw it. I am definitely NOT a writer and I've barely wrote anything in my life but who am I NOT to take the challenge. What is life without challenges and experiences? I actually found out about this about 2 months ago. The rules state that I can go into the month with notes, character maps, etc. just not have any part of the book written. I am going into the month with..........drum roll please.........NOTHING!!!!!!!! As of today, I am going to take notes of everything that pops into my mind and things that I experience and things that I notice going on around me. HHHHMMMMM......Yeah, right!!!!!! I am such a procrastinator I won't have any notes written...I know it. Either way, I'm doin' it. I order me a couple shirts and donated some money....it's for a good cause. I'm excited to challenge my non-existent skills.

Good for you, J.C. I'm doing this for the second time this year and can hardly wait to get started. I'm also an Eastsider. Check the Nano forums for write-ins that you can make. We've got one up in Bellevue on Tuesday nights starting the 1st. Might be a little far for you. But, it's fun to see some of the other nuts who are doing this!
