Midnight Harry Potter & Turkey Day

Me and my JoyJoy (7yo) left the house at 9:45pm to go to a midnight showing of Harry Potter 7 - The Deathly Hallows part 1 in Kent, WA. There were these crazy kids who were throwing around a ball around the theater which was alot of fun. They decided that they would play games down at the front of the theater. Of course, when they said Duck, Duck, Goose....I was IN!!! Of course I pooped out early...and I wasn't the only one.

Anyway, the movie was awesome and was left with a cliffhanger, like we all knew it would but DAAAAAAAMN!!!!! For being a 2 and a 1/2 hour movie, it really didn't feel like it. Joy, of course, fell asleep before it started. And then slept through the whole movie. At least she was being good.

Then, since someone just had a nap and was wide awake we went to Shari's for dinner/breakfast. These women in the booth behind me were talking about Harry Potter and "They should have put this in it, that should have been longer" and they just went on and on. We should all know by now that books turned into movies are always missing something. You can only put so much of the book into the movie. Everyone had to be a movie clinic. Its a cool movie and that's all I need to know.

Thanksgiving-----
I will not complain or make any snarky remarks about going to my in-laws for T Day. I really, really want to cook something substantial to contribute to dinner. Anyway, I was to go down to Longview and just chill. Make the hubby happy and not complain about his family.

Loyalty

When do you just walk away from something that you love and have been loyal to for a few years? When do you just say "Fuck it"? When you realize that the feeling isn't mutual...what do you do?

Now I may just be "emo" right now because its that time of the month but its been a thought in the back of my mind for a while. No, its nothing marriage related. Me and the hubster are solid...as always.

On another note, my friend found these pics on the internet from a really long time ago. I was and actually am getting back into Dear Jane and Quilted Diamonds Quilts and these pics were taken during a retreat that I went to.

Blogging revisited

Yeah, I know its been a while since I've blogged. Honestly, I just did have anything to say. I still really don't. So I've decided that I will just babble and babble about nothing and/or everything that comes to mind.

These last few months have been so stressful financially. We have finally used our EASY button to restart our situation. We've moved to Des Moines, WA, thank goodness. It was a stressful and emotional move and I was going to kill SOMEONE ... ANY ONE if they didn't watch it but luckily there were no fatalities.

Our new (its old but new to us) house is similarly laid out like our old house, it just slightly smaller. I knew I had alot of stuff but DAMN, I have ALOT of stuff. I will need to downsize quite a bit. I already have brought a load to Goodwill, but I need to go through more stuff. I would like to make weekly trips to Goodwill and or sell off some books to a used book store.

I hope to blog more. I think I have things to say...probably lame things to say but words just keep roaming around in my head and talking to a computer makes me feel more sane that talking to myself.

Anybody still out there?
