Yarn Harlot: The 2006 Knitting Olympics

The Olympic motto Citius, Altius, Fortius (faster, higher, stronger)!!!

Who is crazy enough to start AND finish a somewhat difficult knitting project in 16 days? I think I am. If you know of an easy sweater project for my Eris yarn of 1440 yards of Andean Silk from Knit Picks...let me know. That seems challenging enough...a sweater with that much yard...is quite a sweater. Some crazy people signed up and chose Rogue for their knitting project...how insane is that???? I'm going to have to take another look at the list of "atheletes" and see what other crazy things people are going to knit.

Animal Crossing Community -- and now Animal Crossing: Wild World

Animal Crossing Community -- and now Animal Crossing: Wild World

If knitting wasn't already addicting...now I have a Nintendo DS and Animal Crossing the game. I can interact with people over the internet in my town or theirs. There is a whole website to meeting others and setting up to visit their towns. How cool is that? Maybe not very to you adults but I'm still a kid at heart. I'm in denial of my adulthood.

Just another NaNoWriMo drop out

In less than a half-an-hour it will be official...I am a NaNoWriMo drop out. At least I donated and got a couple t-shirts and I always have next year. Life just got way to out of control and in the way of my imagination...nothing was flowing. Again, I always have next year.

I HATE MOVING!!!!!!

I have finally become a homeowner...YEAH!!!! The last 2 weeks have been so stressful and so full of drama, I feel like my head will explode. If I had emotional cancer...it would have exploded into a full-body...whatever you would call that. Anyway, I had 4 adults and 5 children in a 3 bedroom house...NOW I have the same thing but in a 6 bedroom 2 story house...definitely better. Mover's are a God send...they save so much time and back ache. I would highly recommend it getting them if you can. If I wanted to spend more money I would have hired someone to pack my stuff too. Luckily, my mother-in-law was here to help...or I guess pack for me.
